Hi, Ee-Hsien here!!
Since young, I have been captivated by the art of storytelling and bursting with creative ideas. Born with a spirit to pioneer, I am project-driven and unafraid to take failure in my stride while finding ways to achieve desired goals and improve myself.
My Christian faith is integral to who I am and what I do, and forms the basis of my core values – responsibility, discipline, authenticity, simplicity and generosity. My areas of interests include the writing, editing and visual effects aspects of filmmaking, as well as animation, cooking, event planning, rearing fish and LEGO customisation.
I strongly believe in using my talents to create wholesome, family-friendly content that brings people together and explains hope, truth and true love.
My Showreel
The Grace (恩典)
“A troubled teen is forced to hunt down a stalker mastermind after receiving a chain of mysterious notes exposing her darkest secret.”
The Grace is my strongest narrative short film work as a writer-director, editor, colourist and sound designer.
Under the mentorship of Singaporean filmmaker Chang Kai Xiang, I learned how to incorporate misdirection, suspense, set-ups and payoffs into The Grace, my first mystery film.
The Grace was funded by Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) under the NAFA Talent Development Programme (NTDP), an initiative to groom student awardees in their related fields of study by providing customised programmes, opportunities and support to create works and take creative risks.
